What is a successful Web Design?
A successful web design in my opinion is more than design and code, it is the digital representation of your physical presence as a business or organization. It may be the first time a user interacts with your brand. If it is a sloppy representation, your client or customer may get a negative impression of your brand.

Web Design FAQ's
The experience of web designers can range from someone just starting out to someone with 20+ years of experience. I would look for the following qualities when hiring a new web designer.
- Do they have clients who have given them good reviews? Simply look them up by name on Google and read their reviews. They don’t need a lot of reviews, just a few good, and sincere ones.
- Do they have a balanced portfolio of work you can view? In other words, do they have a range of client types in multiple business areas?
- Are they patient and willing to put the hard work in? A simple test is to ask them how they handle revisions when building your site. If they fumble this answer, you might have an issue. My answer is simple. I work until your happy. I have spent months on revisions, no complaints, it’s part of the job of what I do.
It’s a great question but a really simple answer. Web Designers that you can find online with a Google search have already proven that they can do for themselves what you need them to do for you. So first look online by typing into Google “Web designers near me” or “Web designers in your town”.
Let me first say, if your web designer is offering to build you a website for less than $2,000 I would have doubts if they align with the other answers within this FAQ. In general, I would say a good website designer will charge between $3,500 and $20,000 for most websites. In my 20 years of building websites, 90% of the sites I’ve been involved with have fallen into this range. I have quoted sites as high as $80,000 but those are very rare. Your web designer will also offer you a maintenance package that will include your hosting, code updates, and website changes. Ranges for website maintenance packages will usually start at $45 and up.
